The Teacher Trainees' Association of Ghana (TTAG) is calling for the implementation of day and boarding status in all Colleges of Education. This proposal, coined as the "in-in-out-out, in-out-out-in" system, aims to address the significant infrastructure challenges that these colleges currently face. TTAG emphasizes that many colleges of education in Ghana struggle with inadequate infrastructure, which hinders the effective training of future educators. By adopting day and boarding status, students would have the flexibility to alternate between residing on-campus and commuting from home.
