Graduate In Tears After Seeing Final Year Project Work He Paid GH¢4,000 To Print Dumped In Dustbin

A Nigerian university graduate shared a disheartening experience about his final year project, revealing that it was discovered in a trash bin after submission. Praise Akinlami recounted how a friend, who was still a student at the same institution, alerted him to the whereabouts of his discarded project work.

Taking to TikTok, Praise expressed his frustration over the incident, emphasizing the significant financial and emotional investment he had made in producing the research work that ended up in the bin. He lamented that this practice of discarding project works was not unique to his university but prevalent in many Nigerian higher institutions.

In a video message, Praise revealed that he had meticulously planned his project work from his early years in university, only to witness it being discarded like worthless waste. He went on to assert that the undergraduate project works undertaken by students in Nigerian universities could be considered a deceptive practice.

While many of his TikTok followers expressed outrage over the situation, some argued that universities couldn't indefinitely retain project works.
