Man inflicts cutlass wounds on a 17 year old over marijuana

In Kasoa Ofaakor, a well-known marijuana vendor allegedly attacked a 17-year-old motorcycle taxi rider with a machete.

The suspect, referred to as "Cobra," had an ongoing dispute with the victim's employer, Abraham Ahiadu, over Cobra's illegal sale of marijuana. When Cobra spotted the victim in his vicinity, he assumed the rider was gathering evidence to report him to the police.

This led to a heated argument, during which Cobra reportedly wounded Abraham with a machete. Concerned residents took the injured motorcycle rider to the Winneba Trauma and Specialist Hospital and subsequently reported the incident to the police.
